Care
With proper care, linen will last for years and only get better with use.
- Washing: Temperature 30-40°. Use cold or cool water. Water that is too hot can cause linen to shrink. Use a gentle wash or wool wash program
- Detergent: Use a mild detergent that does not contain bleach or enzymes. Do not use fabric softener.
- Loading the washing machine: Only fill the washing machine half full to prevent the linen from wrinkling during the wash.
- Drying: Do not tumble dry. This can damage the linen and cause shrinkage. Straighten the clothes immediately after washing to ensure they dry as flat as possible.
- Ironing: Linen does not necessarily need to be ironed, but iron it damp if you prefer.
Linen does not need to be washed frequently as it is naturally antibacterial.
